Question by dee m: What happens to me if my landlord files bankruptcy?
I’m currently renting a house and this is my sixth month on a 12 month lease. I just found out that my landlord has filed chapter 7 bankruptcy protection. What is going to happen to my deposit and to the house? Anyone have any advice?
